Our Story
Rooted in where we come from. Rising toward where we're going.
Rooted & Rising was born from a simple belief: that the right words, worn close to the skin, can change how you move through the world.
Our Mission
Wear the Word. Live the Word.
We create apparel, drinkware, journals, and art for people who are doing the hard work — building something, healing something, becoming something.
Every product we make carries a message. Not a slogan. A truth. Something you can hold onto when the day gets heavy and the doubt gets loud.
We believe representation matters. We believe legacy is built one intentional choice at a time. And we believe you are more than capable of the life you're reaching for.
Rooted in where we come from. Rising toward where we're going.
— The Rooted & Rising Motto
The Founder
Qamar Hasan
Founder & Creative Director
Qamar started Rooted & Rising after years of searching for brands that reflected her community's strength, faith, and ambition — and not finding enough of them.
What began as a personal project became a movement. Today, Rooted & Rising ships to customers across the country who are building businesses, raising families, chasing degrees, and choosing to rise — every single day.
Qamar leads every creative decision with one question: does this make someone feel seen? If the answer is yes, it belongs in the collection.
What We Stand For
Community Values
Rootedness
We honor where we come from. Our heritage, our families, our communities — they are not baggage. They are the foundation.
Ambition
We believe in reaching. In building. In refusing to accept a ceiling that was never meant for you.
Faith
We move with purpose and trust the process — even when the harvest isn't visible yet.
Community
We are stronger together. Every purchase supports a brand that pours back into the people it serves.
Legacy
We think generationally. What we build today is a seed for those coming after us.
Truth
We say what needs to be said. Our words are not decorations — they are declarations.

You Belong Here.
Rooted & Rising is more than a brand. It's a community of people who refuse to shrink, who choose to grow, and who wear their values out loud.
